I used to doodle a lot as a kid. Once a made a spin off comic of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was about 11 or 12, they were Ducks.

In high school I began copying styles of drawing from The Far Side and The Simpsons. Study halls were never about studying. I doodled little comic strips in a spare notebook for about 40 minutes a day. Sadly, I don't have any of those doodles anymore.

Billy & Mak are based on 2 characters in our computer world. Yes, I'm a geek. More familiar faces to come soon...

• Billy is an enthusiastic geek with lots of ideas. Unfortunately, he lives in the cartoon world and seldom visits reality. Fortunately, he has Mak.
• Mak lives in the real world, which is why he'll often be seen as a cartoon in a real setting. He's a happy guy, and tends to wonder about his pal, Billy.
